3. 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport 4.0

This is a fantastic and smooth ride, the previous 2 owners improved it greatly. it has the Lift (4″ skyjacker sway 1 with hydro 7000 shocks and quick disconnects on front anti-sway bar ), exhaust (performance headers with 2 pipes into 1 after the flanges then 2 and 1/4″ pipe goes straight back through the over sized catalytic and stainless muffler then bends over rear axle and has a nice shiny tailpipe, impressive sound, look and performance), Airaid performance intake, 5 American Racing 15″ aluminum rims, Warn rear bumper and tire swing, front grill guard/pusher bar, gearing and locker are definitely in the rear ( locker engages when enough torque is applied in reverse, you’ll hear it engage and feel the difference) and Jet chip/computer.

4. Halloween Costume

And finally, yes Halloween is just around the corner, and thus you will need to buy a costume soon. However instead of buying one, why not barter your way to a new costume. A user is offering this amazingly scary Scream costume with a blood dripping mask.

Do You Need to Report a Barter Exchange?

original post by Sandra A. Parks

Bartering is the trading of one product or service for another. Usually there is no exchange of cash. Barter may take place on an informal one-on-one basis between individuals and businesses, or it can take place on a third party basis through a modern barter exchange company.

Bartering is the most ancient form of commerce. While our ancestors may have exchanged eggs for corn, today you can barter computer services for auto repair.

Another example of a one-on-one, non-barter exchange transaction is a plumber doing repair work for a dentist in exchange for dental services. The fair market value of the goods and services exchanged must be reported as income by both parties.

Here are a few things you should know about bartering:

• Barter Exchange A barter exchange functions primarily as the organizer of a marketplace where members buy and sell products and services among themselves. Whether this activity operates out of a physical office or is internet based, a barter exchange is generally required to issue Form 1099-B, Proceeds from Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions, annually to their clients or members and to the IRS.

• Barter Income Barter dollars or trade dollars are identical to real dollars for tax reporting. If you conduct any direct barter – barter for another’s products or services – you will have to report the fair market value of the products or services you received on your tax return.

• Taxes Income from bartering is taxable in the year it is performed. You may be subject to liabilities for income tax, self-employment tax, employment tax, or excise tax. Your barter activities may result in ordinary business income, capital gains or capital losses, or you may have a nondeductible personal loss.

• Reporting The rules for reporting barter transactions may vary depending on which form of bartering takes place. Generally, you report this type of business income on Form 1040, Schedule C Profit or Loss from Business, or other business returns such as Form 1065 for Partnerships, Form 1120 for Corporations, or Form 1120-S for Small Business Corporations.

Trade with Members of Your Own Club

In the near future we will be introducing Trading Clubs to our site. This feature will allow you to form your own trading club or join an existing one. You will be able to easily find what other members have to trade and discuss your trading experience in a forum dedicated to your club’s members. Trading clubs will be formed to bring together friends and family or people with shared interests. Organizations that represent special interest groups for whom trading is an attractive alternative will also be able to form Trading Clubs for their memberships. Our site will support clubs sponsored by small businesses that may have trading affinities.

The purpose of the Trading Clubs is to allow our users to search for trades within a community to which they naturally belong, in which they feel comfortable, and through which they can pursue trading opportunities with like minded individuals.

Trading Clubs will be organized by and within categories. In addition to your own friends and family, clubs could be organized by your geographic region, by specific types of services, by your interest in items related to the environment (green), or by your lifestyle and what types of items you may be interested in. The major club categories will include, among other things, artists and entertainers, books, collectors, gamers and hobbyists, moms and dads, music, seniors, sports and exercise, students, technology and travelers.

Once introduced, we encourage you to use the clubs as another way of organizing your trading activity. While you will be able to join certain clubs (like those organized around another user’s friends) by invitation only, other clubs will be available to anyone with a shared interest. Again, if you don’t find a club that matches your trading interests, we will urge you to sponsor your own.

Think Trading Clubs is a good idea? Any suggestions related to this feature (such as a special category, or type, of club)? Let us know.
